This policy explains what Today Meal Prep ("we", "us") collects when you visit todaymealprep.com, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

#The short version

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not sell your data. The only information you actively give us is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe. Everything else is standard web analytics and advertising data collected by third parties.

#Information we collect

Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter we store the email address you enter and the date you subscribed. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you view. This is used for security and to understand which articles are useful.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. It sets cookies and processes data on Google's servers. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

#Advertising and cookies

We display advertising served by Google AdSense and other partners.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

#Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Under the GDPR this includes the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale — we do not sell personal information.

#Newsletter

You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom of it. When you unsubscribe we remove your address from our active list.

#Data retention

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Analytics data is retained according to Google's own retention settings.

#Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

#Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, note it on the homepage.
