Affiliate disclosure

Short version: some of the links on this site earn us a commission. They never cost you extra, and they never change what we recommend.

This disclosure is made in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

When we recommend a product, we sometimes link to a retailer that runs an affiliate programme. If you click that link and buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you had gone to the site directly.

Affiliate links on this site are marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page code, which is how Google asks publishers to identify them, and any article containing them carries a visible notice at the top.

#Programmes we participate in

  • Amazon Associates. Today Meal Prep is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
  • Other retailer and brand affiliate programmes from time to time. These are disclosed the same way.

#What commission does not buy

  • It does not buy a good review. We publish negative verdicts on popular products regularly, including products we could earn a commission on.
  • It does not buy placement. Rankings are based on testing, not on payout rate.
  • It does not buy silence. If a product we previously recommended gets worse, we update the article.

#Advertising

We also display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Advertisers have no input into our editorial content and no advance sight of it. Ad networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads — how that works, and how to opt out, is covered in our privacy policy.
